Zone Alarm Information
Prepared by
Dr. Spiegel
Following is information to familiarize you with
ZoneAlarm. ZoneAlarm is a program that controls what programs in your computer
can access the internet, both for outbound and incoming traffic.
You
can access these screens and more by downloading and running this: zatutor_za.exe

It is recommended that you check the Don’t show this dialog again box. You can see the alerts recently generated if you’re curious if anyone has tried to intrude onto your computer
To check and change the settings
for a program, go to the Program Control screen. It shows the
permissions for each program you’ve run that tries to access the internet. A
√ means the program has permission, a ? means ZoneAlarm will ask, and an
X means the program is barred from internet access.
